Book Review: Twisted Death (A Twisted Fairy Tale Book 2) by Ace Gray

I received an ARC of Twisted Death by Ace Gray in exchange for my honest review.

This story is a continuation from book 2, so definitely NOT as standalone novel. I strongly recommend re-reading book 1 before reading book 2 if it’s been a while. I was confused when I started the book because there is definitely a time shift and trying to remember how book one left off. This book is dark, it’s the seedy underbelly of the mob world, with sex slaves, death and mayhem all around. Cole is gone back to the Irish Mob and is now Mickeys right hand man. Elle and Horse are let to try to pick up the pieces of their life without the key person. Elle is a shell of her former self but tries to keep it together for Horse, and the hope she has for the future. Cole might not be dead, but he might as well with the way he is now. He’s cold, dark and uncaring. Anything they might of had is gone.

Can these people find their way in through the darkness or will it conquer them all?

This book is filled with such anxiety towards the characters and their world. This is a dark twisted story that is not for the weak of heart. The characters will grab you and toss you around like a rag doll leaving you wondering wtf just happened. You know how you feel after a great romp in the hay? Like you need a stiff drink and a smoke? Well this book leaves you with a similar feeling, so be warned.

This story is dark & twisted, like I said before. There is murder, their is kidnapping, sex slavery, M/M, M/F/M, explicit and graphic sex scenes that are for mature audiences only.

This was another home run in my opinion and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
